TRHA Guidelines for 2012 Yearend Award Eligibility
The TRHA welcomes all of its current members to partake in our Year End awards program. In order for points to count, each rider and owner must be current TRHA members for the current year; If there are multiple recorded owners of the horse, all must be TRHA members.
In addition, each rider and horse combination must compete in 51% of the total TRHA shows. For example, the 2012 show year has 10 designated TRHA shows, thus in order to qualify for Year End Awards, each rider and horse pair must show in at least 6 shows. The points are accumulated for each individual class that is offered within each show.
Year End Awards will be given in each of the designated classes listed below through tenth place. Awards will be given out to winners at the annual TRHA Year End Awards Banquet. Ties at year-end will be broken by number of times entered in the tied class. If still tied, number of first places earned receives 1st place award. A final tiebreaker will be a coin toss. Qualified champions, and reserve champions, of any class must earn a minimum of 15 points to receive an award.
