NRHA OFFICER WRITE-IN CANDIDATE PROCEDURES

deadline for write-in candidates is May 11, 2008

Board meetings will be held at all Warm Up shows, and Spring Classic show on Friday. Check back for more information.

South Central Region Affiliates,

There will be four (4) NRHA Board of Director seats allotted to the South Central Region for the 2009-2010 term. Please be sure to notify the members of your affiliate regarding the election deadlines. According to the new election procedures, your deadline dates are as follows:

MARCH 30 - 30 Day Nomination Period Opens

APRIL 30 - Affiliate Nominations Close

MAY 30 - Write-in Nominations Close

JULY 21 - 30 Day Election Period Opens (online voting will be activated, absentee paper ballots will not be made available on NRHA web site)

AUG 21 - Election Period Closes (online voting ends and mailed in absentee paper ballots will not be accepted after this date)

AUG 30 - Ballots will be accepted in person by a designated NRHA staff member at the Regional Affiliate Finals (ballots will not be accepted after 2:00 p.m.CST Time)

Any eligible member choosing to vote by traditional paper ballot may email, fax or call the NRHA Election Administrator to request an absentee paper ballot or vote in person at the respective Regional Affiliate Finals by paper ballot, which shall be available there. (NO BALLOTS WILL BE PRINTED IN THE NRHA REINER OR AVAILABLE FOR DOWNLOAD OFF OF THE NRHA WEB SITE).
